These creative hot dogs, also known as Tom Dogs, are cross-hatched, grilled, then stuffed with mozzarella, pizza sauce, pepperoni, and pineapple. A final grill melts the cheese to perfection.
Start by cross hatching your hot dogs, and grill them to perfection. Open up a hot dog and fill with shredded mozzarella cheese, a cooked hot dog, pizza sauce, more cheese, and pepperoni. ADD PINEAPPLE!!! Paint with a little melted butter and place on the grill, indirect at 375F to let the cheese melt. Remove, smash these all day, and think of Tom when you do.
