Bookmark and make these delicious Sloppy Joe Nachos! This recipe combines seasoned ground beef and vegetables with a tangy homemade sloppy joe sauce, all served over crispy kettle potato chips and topped with cheese, dip, and fresh veggies.
Get your griddle up to 350F. Throw on 1 pound of Ground Beef. Also throw on 1 chopped small onion, 1/2 of a chopped bell pepper (I used red), and 2 minced cloves of garlic. Stir them up occasionally. While that cooks, mix together the sauce: 1/2 cup Ketchup, 1/4 cup of Tomato Sauce, 2 tbsp of Brown Sugar, 1 tbsp of Worcestershire sauce, 1/2 tsp Paprika, 1/4 tsp Cumin, 1/2 tsp Celery Salt, and some Salt and Pepper to taste. Mix the sautéed Vegetables, browned Meat, and the Sloppy Joe Sauce while it simmers until all the flavors mix together. Take the Sloppy Joe Meat and pour it over a bed of Kettle Potato Chips (Because they won’t get soggy). Then top with Shredded Colby Jack Cheese, French Onion Dip (or Sour Cream if you prefer), Sliced Sweet Peppers, Sliced Little Pickles, and Green Onion. Now enjoy!
